Matt is assistant professor of digital media at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York and resides in the Hudson Valley. He is originally from the St. Louis, Missouri area where he started his formal education in the arts and received an AFA in graphic communications at St. Louis Community College. Leaving St. Louis he attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Minneapolis, Minnesota and received a BFA in animation.

In order to continue his studies Matt found his way to Syracuse, New York and received an MFA in computer art at Syracuse University. Matt's work primarily consists of animation, video, and sound. His work has exhibited in several American locations including New York, Nebraska, and California and around the globe in such areas as Chile, Switzerland, and Taiwan.
